Interpretation of the Terms: Parol Evidence
In this video, you should consider the following:
- Parol Evidence applies to prior or contemporaneous written or oral statements.
- A condition precedent is not barred by the Parol Evidence rule.
- Any defenses to the formation of a contract may be brought in to show that a contract was never formed, and is usually not brought in to vary an existing contract.
