In September 1985, a college-aged student severely injured his right hand and arm after passing it through a panel of wire-reinforced glass in a door of his dormitory at Kent State University. Defendant-appellee Larson & Nassau designed the dormitory between 1961 and 1963. Defendant-appellee Knowlton Construction Company was the general contractor throughout the construction project, which concluded in December 1966.
Plaintiff-appellant filed a negligence claim against Defendant-appellees for the design and construction of the dormitory.
