Dallas and Rebecca Masterson owned a ranch until February 25, 1958 when they conveyed it to Medora and Lu Sine. The deed included an option which stated “Reserving unto the Grantors herein an option to purchase the above described property on or before February 25, 1968” for the “same consideration as being paid heretofore plus their depreciation value of any improvements Grantees may add to the property from and after two and a half years from this date.” Sometime after the conveyance, Dallas was declared bankrupt and Rebecca and his trustee sought to exercise the option in order to repay Dallas’ debts.
