Chevalier confronted his wife over soiled panties he found in his car. The two had an argument during which his wife admitted to having an affair and disparaged Chevalier’s sexual abilities. Chevalier shot his wife and attempted to conceal the shooting by dumping her body along a highway in Michigan. Prior to the murder, and over the course of their marriage, his wife had left him three times to live with his best friend.
Similarly, Flores and his wife had an argument during which his wife admitted to having an affair and having slept with her lover in the marital bed. Flores then shot and killed her. For eight months prior to the murder, Flores had suspected his wife of having an affair.
