The defendants’ husband and father, George Wood, granted in his will a life estate to parcel number 105 to the defendant (Catherine Wood). At the end of Catherine’s life, George directed left the remainder interest in parcel number 105 to be split equally between his children, the defendant (Sheridan Wood) and the plaintiff (Patricia Woodrick). After the death of his father, Sheridan conveyed his remainder interest to Catherine. The defendants wish to raze a barn with rotted wood on parcel number 105, but the plaintiff filed this action to stop them from doing so. The barn was appraised to be worth $3,200.
