Diana Casto (Appellant) was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She appealed, arguing that certain exhibits introduced by the government should have been inadmissible due to a break in the chain of custody. Shortly after an undercover officer seized the packages containing Casto’s drugs, they were sent to a Drug Enforcement Agency laboratory and tested, and then sent back to the officer. During the period between the arrival of the packages at the laboratory and the testing of them, the packages were kept in a vault where a technician had placed them upon their arrival at the laboratory.
