A’Vant and Zuena were driving slowly and patrolling an area that received a lot of complaints in relation to drug activity. Clement approached them and asked if if they were looking for “rock.” The officers said that they were. Clement told them to meet him on a street. Clement told A’Vant to follow him and he did while Zuena stayed in the car. Clement led A’Vant into an unattached garage and A’Vant gave Clement a marked 20 dollar bill. Clement rang a doorbell inside the garage and Mendoza and another man came out of the house. Mendoza became quite upset at Clement for bringing a “stranger” there, Clement offered the 20 dollar bill to which Mendoza snatched it and the Clement and Mendoza entered the house. Mendoza and Clement came back out quickly and A’Vant saw Mendoza hand Clement a clear bag. Clement and A’Vant walked back to the car in which Clement handed the bag to A’Vant and then A’Vant and Zuena identified themselves was detectives and arrested Clement.
