The plaintiff boarded a Comair flight in Roanoke, Virginia to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota. There was a layover in the Cincinnati airport. Comair representatives did not ask the plaintiff for proof of identification when he boarded the flight in Roanoke. Because of this oversight, there was an absence of pink highlighting on the plaintiff’s boarding pass. When Comair representatives in Cincinnati saw this they did not allow the plaintiff to board his connecting flight to Minneapolis. Eventually, the plaintiff was given a ticket to Roanoke and was returned there.
