Defendant treats Plaintiff for a knee infection over the course of a three-year period. This treatment included a knee fusion, which was not successful. Doctor Greene subsequently provided a total knee replacement, which was also not successful. Plaintiff broke her leg one morning while getting out of bed, and was then hospitalized for a nine-month period under the care of Greene. Doctor Greene ultimately determined Plaintiff’s infection would not clear and ordered a leg amputation.
