Plaintiff worked as a sales associate at Defendant’s store in Daly City, California from late August 2013 through July 8, 2014. Plaintiff alleges that she was terminated in response to her need for a leave of absence related to her pregnancy and other medical health conditions. On August 13, 2013, Plaintiff submitted an application that included an agreement to arbitrate any future employment-related disputes with Defendant. Then Plaintiff used Defendant’s website to log in and complete the employment paperwork, which included her agreement to abide by “The Finish Line, Inc. Employee Dispute Resolution Plan.” Plaintiff’s agreement to that plan was a condition of her employment with Defendant.
