Patrick was planning to construct a new pool in his backyard. He hired Bart, a well-known pool contractor, to design and construct the pool. Bart, in turn, hired Lionel to dig the hole and plaster the pool area. After Lionel completed his job, Bart then hired Shocker Electric to install the heater and the wiring for the pool. While Shocker was performing his work, the wiring became disjointed and had to be replaced at a substantial cost to Patrick.
If Patrick sues Shocker in tort to recover the damages he suffered because of this occurrence, will Patrick prevail?

What is the duty that Shocker Electric owed Patric here? Was there actual causation as a result of the breach of that duty?
